Terms of Service
These terms describe the current intended rules for using Transmutify.
The service
Transmutify provides software for transforming structured files and raw input into schema-guided output for business and professional use only. The service includes a public website, authenticated dashboard, playground, API, organization workspaces, schemas, provider configuration, transformation runs, file storage, and webhook notifications.
Accounts and organizations
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- Each user belongs to an organization. Organization administrators and members are responsible for activity in their workspace and for the people they invite.
- You may not use another person's account, impersonate another person, or attempt to bypass authentication, verification, rate limits, quotas, or access controls.
Customer data and transformation data
You remain responsible for the files, raw input, schemas, provider credentials, webhook URLs, and other content you submit or configure. You must have the rights and permissions needed to process that data through Transmutify and any AI provider, storage provider, or webhook endpoint you configure.
Transmutify may process customer data to provide the service, including inspecting input files, preparing review mappings, applying mappings, storing output files, delivering webhooks, recording usage, and debugging failed transformations.
When customer transformation data includes personal data, Transmutify generally processes that data as a processor on behalf of the customer organization. The Data Processing Agreement governs that processing for customer personal data.
AI providers and storage providers
The service is provider-configurable. If you add AI provider credentials or custom storage settings, you authorize Transmutify to use those services on your organization's behalf for the configured transformation workflow. You are responsible for the third-party terms, fees, permissions, and data-handling requirements that apply to those providers.
File-based mapping and schema generation use limited samples and apply masking for common sensitive values where detected before sending those samples to the configured AI provider. Raw transformations are different: unless a raw transformation is a dry run, the raw input content is sent to the configured AI provider for processing.
Transmutify-controlled transformation storage is hosted in AWS Europe (Frankfurt) (eu-central-1). If your organization activates custom AWS S3 storage, that storage is controlled by your organization and may use the region, endpoint, and retention behavior you configure.
Transmutify-controlled transformation input and output files are retained for 7 days. Temporary upload and download URLs are time-limited. Custom storage configured by an organization may have different retention, access, and deletion behavior controlled by that organization.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully or to violate third-party rights.
- Do not upload data you are not permitted to process.
- Do not attempt to access another organization or tenant.
- Do not probe, attack, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Do not use the service to transmit malware or harmful content.
- Do not misrepresent the origin, legality, or permissions for submitted data.
API keys and webhooks
API keys authenticate requests for an organization and must be kept confidential. Webhook URLs and webhook secrets are organization-controlled settings. You are responsible for securing systems that receive transformation notifications, such as finished or failed final runs.
Fees and future pricing
The service is currently offered without charge while Transmutify is in its initial phase. Transmutify may introduce fees, paid plans, usage-based pricing, or plan-limited features in the future.
If paid plans are introduced, pricing will be announced in advance. You will not be charged automatically: paid features will require your organization to actively agree to a paid plan. Quotas, usage limits, and feature availability may differ between free and paid plans, and the free scope of the service may change as described under Availability and changes.
Availability and changes
The service may change as features, quotas, supported providers, storage behavior, API contracts, and transformation workflows evolve. Transmutify may suspend access when needed to protect the service, other users, or an organization from abuse, security risk, or policy violations.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Transformation output, AI-generated mappings, and schema suggestions can be incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing review mappings and outputs before relying on them in production systems. Final warranty disclaimers and liability limits must be reviewed and completed by counsel for the applicable legal operator and jurisdiction.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your account in the dashboard profile settings. Organization deletion, data export, and remaining retention obligations should be completed in the final terms once the production commercial and legal model is defined.
